SmartTID Team Planning
SmartTID Team Planning
SmartTID Team Planning is a module in SmartTID that is available through our web portal. It is actually an older module that we previously had only in our Windows client.
The module was developed in collaboration with a company in the wind turbine industry that needed to plan its employees and resources using a centralized tool, in order to eliminate the need for numerous individual spreadsheets used by each planner.
When work is planned in SmartTID, employees, site managers, team leaders, and other staff can only register time against the jobs assigned to them for that day.
Time tracking itself can be performed using our standard clock-in/clock-out solution on a terminal or smartphone. It can also be done using the Timesheet module available in the web portal or via the SmartTID Phone (version 3) app, which has a built-in timesheet tracking module.
Visual Planning
SmartTID Team planning is designed to provide visual scheduling for companies that need an overview of teams with one or more employees who work on a job for one or more days at a time. It is not intended for hour-by-hour planning, such as task or shift scheduling, but rather for planning in blocks covering entire days. SmartTID Team Scheduling is therefore particularly well-suited for:
- Installers, perhaps especially traveling installers
- Tradespeople at large construction sites
- Contractors
- In general, companies that assign their employees to jobs, tasks, and projects that span one or more days.
By using SmartTID Team planning, you ensure that:
• A complete overview of all employees
• No double bookings
• Quickly see which employees have no work assigned.
• Avoid planning in personal spreadsheets or other documents.
Team Planning is 100% integrated
SmartTID Team Planning is, of course, a 100% integrated part of the rest of SmartTID. This means that the subsequent actual time tracking, collective bargaining agreement processing, and integration with payroll and ERP systems are a natural part of the package.
However, you can easily use Team Planning as a standalone module that does not require you to also track time in SmartTID.
