Data Processing Agreement with SmartTID

At SmartTID, we place a high priority on data security and GDPR compliance. Therefore, we always process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and the data processing agreement we have entered into.

SmartTID acts as a data processor, while you, as a customer or business partner, are the data controller. This means that SmartTID processes data solely in accordance with instructions from the data controller and in accordance with the data processing agreement entered into.

 

Acceptance of the Data Processing Agreement

When you log in to the SmartTID Portal for the first time to start a demo or begin using the system, a pop-up will ask you to accept the data processing agreement.

The approval is visible only to superusers in the system.

It is possible to temporarily postpone acceptance, but only up to five times; after that, the data processing agreement must be accepted in order to continue using the system.

 

Registration of the Data Controller

The superuser who accepts the data processing agreement is registered with SmartTID as the data controller representative for the customer.

 

Upon acceptance, the following information is recorded:

 

• Name of the Data Controller
• Date and Time of Acceptance
• Customer Information

 

This information corresponds to the information about the data controller provided on page 10 of the data processing agreement.

It is possible to change the registered data controller at any time.

 

If this becomes necessary, the change can be made by contacting your usual SmartTID consultant, who can update the information in the system.
