SmartPoint
A SmartPoint is an action that can be triggered when an employee is at a specific location. It can be configured as either a physical or a virtual checkpoint. A physical SmartPoint is represented by a sticker that employees scan with their smartphone. Alternatively, a SmartPoint can be configured as a virtual checkpoint using geofencing, allowing employees to activate it from their smartphone when they are within a specified distance of the location.
Who has been where, when
The advantage of Smartpoints from SmartTID is that the company can be certain that the employee is at the designated location when the task is performed. This can be quickly and easily documented for any customers using the electronic record of “who was where and when.”
SmartPoint is easy
A SmartPoint can be set up anywhere to handle various interactions, such as clocking in and out and starting or stopping a specific task. SmartPoint automatically stops the previous task when a new point for a new task is scanned.
